This paper aims to contextualize the telenovela in studies about the mediatization, in general, and more specifically, the mediatization of consumption. The intent is to bring possible research developments about the subject by the perspective of representation of the daily rituals of consumption in telenovelas. We intend to discuss, briefly, studies that bring new research horizons in the area, as the research of Andreas Hepp (2014), and its possible applicability in the Brazilian telenovelas.Downloads
