The use of hydraulic energy to draw human activities is not a contemporary issue. The first water-powered mills date back to the 2nd century BC. Today, the use of water energy is sought to produce electricity. We will discuss two ways of producing clean and renewable energies through the oceans: tidal and wave energy. Our general objective is to discuss about interdisciplinary topics of these energy sources This work was produced in the context of a working group aiming to fulfill an activity requested by the Paula Souza Center for Pedagogical Training Course For Mid-Level Professional Education. We organized in the references all the materials consulted. We also prepared a narrative for comics, as a support material, aiming to enable activities in the classroom to be produced by other teachers. Thus, we think it is possible to amplify the discussions presented here for explanations about varied curricular components, related for example to public policies, legislation, sustainability, environment, etc. Therefore, we hope that the discussions undertaken here do not end in these lines, but, that from them, multiply.
