Abstract

Karl Lieblich’s story is one of a largely forgotten, German-Jewish writer who left Nazi Germany for exile in Brazil, later returning to Germany after the war. This articles reconstructs his life, analyzes his literary, cultural and philosophical writing and places it in its epoch.
