Briefly, one of the steps of the creation process termed “spatial masking” is presented here, developed in the doctoral research Spatial masking: a creative process involving the actor’s bodily spatiality. The procedures were developed from plastic-architectural structures used as spatial masks, able to stimulate the body to create physical actions. These theoretical and prac- tical investigations, based on the transit between constructed spatiality and performativity, have resulted in psychophysical qualities based on the principle of flow of space/body exchanges, allowing the experience to move and be moved, to spatialize and be spatialized, to act and be acted.
