Car Flow, Transport and Tourism, Angra dos Reis.Abstract
In the realization of a trip, there is the spatial displacement of people who move between the transmitter and the receiver space featuring in a type of flow. In the case of tourism, this flow of tourists is essential to this activity, which in turn requires a transport infrastructure installed in the territory. This relationship between tourism and transport is explicit, because the latter is indispensable for the trip, including influencing the time of its duration. In Brazil, road transport is the mode of transport widely used for tourism, highlighting the use of buses and cars. The concentration of cars from other municipalities in the center of the city of Angra dos Reis, one of the most important tourist destinations in the country, led to questions about the possible relationship between this fact and the practice of tourism. In this sense, the objective of this research was to diagnose the origin of cars parked in public and private parking lots in the city of Angra dos Reis, RJ. Methodologically, it wasprivileged the literature review, quantitative and field work. We conclude that the state of São Paulo is the largest car transmitter remaining in private parking lots, while the state of Rio de Janeiro is in public ones. It was also diagnosed that almost all of these cars are tourists who went to the Big Island.
