El Islamismo y la Nacionalidad Hui de China

Abstract

There are a lot of histories that an etnia who follows several religion
principles as well as a lot of etnias following a single religion. By the way it is quite rare to see a religion being followed by a etnia made with a lot of
credos that came from several etnias and different countries. We present
here the rare case of Hui's nation formation in China. It is not known if this case is unique but we can consider it as one of the real one. In this paper, we study the origin and the formation of Hui's nation, it also covers the Moslem religion propagation in China. Besides an analysis of Moslem's religion roots as major factor in Hui's nation formation, this paper tries to show that a foreign religion can be presented with only its original principles with a combination of local culture habits. With this way, this religion can survive, blend up and develop in a very ancient and strong culture as chinese one. And this is the inspiration to this work.
