The purpose of this paper is to analyse the commercial non-sanitary interests of the management of the pandemic influenza preparedness in the Global North and how this preparedness for the pandemic could be an additional burden for the countries of the Global South. Moreover, this paper examines the complexity of scientifi c outreach to society through the media in the case of serious epidemic outbreaks.Downloads
