Abstract

In the last years, it was largely introduced in several Brazilian districts the app transportation services, which belong to an economic model whose disruptive nature has led to the necessity to review the transportation regulation world-wide. Given this scenario, the present research aims to analyze the district models of regulation, examining its probable efficacies, as well as its respective compatibilities to the Federal Act 12.587/12. According to these objectives, it was necessary the adoption of a comparative and deductive methodology; at the end, it concludes that the district norms are adopting measures ambiguous to the nature of the Sharing Economy services. Furthermore, it concludes the mentioned norms act as a way to force the adjustment of the app transportation services to the principles established by the Federal Act 12.587/12.
