The text written in 2007, on the book centenary, presents to Brazilian readers Il giornalino di Gian Burrasca by Luigi Bertelli which is a classic in the Italian children’s literature. The book is a true portrait, as a diary, of a good family boy tricks, Giannino Stoppani, in the end of the 20th. Century during Italy unification. The confront between Giannino’s adventures and the adult’s hypocrisy who should take care of his education enables the author to view the universe of Italian moral formation.
