Princess Shokushi and Shunzei Kyôjo are the female poets with the largest number of poems selected for this anthology. The first one contributed with 49 poems and the second one with 29. Both poets lived in the same epoch and were tought by the same master, Fujiwara Teika, who was one of the organizers of this anthology.
