Intertextuality and stubborn in Velha roupa colorida: dialogues between Assum-preto, Blackbird and The raven

This article aims to investigate the horizon of intertextualities present in the Belchior´s song Velha roupa colorida, targeting the theme of stubbornness and insistence. The song Velha roupa colorida operates many voices in its verses, coming from another geography, another generation. In our analysis, the focus is on the intertextuality between Assum-preto, Blackbird and The Raven, as well as on the way in which the songbook from Ceará works the images and meanings arising from these voices to reiterate the stubbornness, the will to live, the insistence, the forcefulness of your character.
