Russian literature, Mikhail Bulgakov, Translation, "In the Café", USSRAbstract
Soviet life and its developments, as well as the social view with the bias of medicine is one of, if not the great literary path taken by Mikhail Bulgakov in his literary life. The author of one of the main and most famous satirical reviews of the USSR and its then leader, Joseph Stalin, The master and Margarita, is little known for his other works, whether in short stories, in feuilletons for newspapers or in his true field of “action”, the theater. The translation commented below intends to present, through the feuilleton In the Café, a little bit of the author, another side of his literary work, with a character extremely linked to the autobiographical aspects of his journey as a writer and doctor.
