The present essay aims at the revisitation of the author’s personal experience as a spectator of On the Concept of the Face, Regarding the Son of God, by the Italian theatre company, Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio. The author describes, in detail, the moments and feelings comprising that experience, and utilises aspects of contemporary theatre theory to critically analyse, and support, the discomfort and frustration experienced by her.
