Abstract

This article aims to analyze the performance Space of silence, by Nina Caetano, in order to discuss the critical dimension of the work, especially regarding violence against women. It is intended to analyze how performative action carried out in the street reshapes boundaries between artist and public, becoming a political device against this type of violence.

Keywords: Street performance, Gender violence, Violence against women.
