There is something about the teaching of non-fiction film in particular that sets it apart from other forms of media pedagogy. This article collects efforts of documentary pedagogues in apprenticeship and on trial in the belief that a proposal of goals for our teaching can help promote a continuing dialogue around best practices.Downloads
