Author guidelines

File: .doc, .docx or .RTF; up to 5 Mb.

Authorship: The manuscript must not contain the authors’ names. Data regarding authors must be exclusively in the form provided by the submission system. Authors cannot be included or excluded after the submission of the article. The website registry section resumo da biografia [biography synopsis] must be filed with information about the authors’ upper degree (degree, discipline, and institution), institutional affiliation and email. When applicable, instead of the degree, the author can inform an ongoing study program.

Important: Submitted manuscripts that do not have complete authors  data (metadata) will not be evaluated.

The first page: must contain title, abstract and keywords in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The abstract must have between 150 and 250 words, and 3 to 5 keywords.

Pictures and maps: Must be in JPG format and with minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

Other figures and tables: must come in an open format for editing.

Footnotes: use this resource only in the article if strictly necessary, inserted in the text as superscript Arabic numerals.

Additional materials: can be attached to the article when relevant. Data collection instruments and databases are desirable.

Citations, references, figures and tables: must follow the pattern of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Sixth Edition (APA 6th style), available at http://www.apastyle.org. More information about this can be found at: http://www.easybib.com/guides/citation-guides/apa-format/

Size: articles must have between 5,000 and 8,000 words; other contributions should be up to 5,000 words.

Support: must not be included in the manuscript to avoid the identification of authors. Such information must be inserted in the “Development agencies” (submission system).

Acknowledgments: must not be included in the manuscript file to avoid identification of authors. Such information must be sent to tanalise@usp.br.

Final Version

After the approval of the article, and before the publication of the final version, authors must write a “statement of authorship and responsibility” declaring that: the study was never published in other scientific media; the contributions of each author must be described according to the information at the submission. Send this declaration to: tanalise@usp.br, PDF format, with the scanned signatures of all authors.

The journal reserves the right to make changes in the original (revision regarding grammar, orthography and other editorial adjustments for the publication).
