The goal of the paper is to characterize the importance of the tourism experience, the interrelation of this experience with the culture, and how they are integrated to reflect on categories such as multiculturalism and thoughtful critique of the relationship between tourism and culture. To achieve this, the research is presented in two sections: the first one discusses the conceptualization of tourism experience and its deployment to the phenomenon of tourism. The second part aims at the cultural critique in the dynamics of both tourism activity and experience. The paper concludes with a reflection about the encounter of different cultures as a central element for understanding the tourist experience from the multi visions in an intercultural world.
