Abstract

This paper shows the development of the Britain town planning, in particular, that what has flourished at London County, in the 2º post-war, period that the town planning became the big solution to the cities problems in Britain. It analyses the County London Plan, development by the London County Council and the great town planner Patrick Abercrombie, plan that had been used as theorist model to the development of master plans, in Britain and abroad, as also in Brazil.
