Processual Thinking and the Evolution of Architectural Praxis: an argument

This theoretical argumentation seeks to put forward the dialectical coexistence of two general narratives in architecture. One, conceived from cultural and artistic movements - and which develops politically – with another, which deals with technical and instrumental evolution - and which evolves cumulatively and technologically. The establishment of this distinction becomes relevant as one intends to regard design
technique as a field of intellectual inquiry in itself and, which the parameters differ from those of the functionalist and metaphysical paradigms.
