The period between 1830 - 1858/62 is outstanding for the study of the relations of the prohibited commerce of slaves in Brazil and the expansion of world capitalism. Without rejecting the brazilian particularities - like the slavishly condition and the low technology -, the aspects of capitalism stand out from the European countries and the United States, beyond the complex situation of the slave trade to the Caribee Islands. It follows that the slave trade had been maintained in Brazil after it have been prohibited, because he offered answers to capitalism and was only withdrawn when the development of the same capitalism has overcome.Downloads
