Abstract

The text presents the reproduction of some paintings by Renato Castanhari exposed at the Pilar Gallery (São Paulo), from March 30 to May 25, 2024, in his second solo show, Wavering, which deals with the material and formal possibilities of this artistic language, revealing images that vacillate between geometric abstraction and informal landscapes.

    Renato Castanhari é artista visual e doutor em Artes Visuais pela Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA/USP), concentrando sua pesquisa e produção artística em pintura, performance, vídeo e fotografia.
