Abstract

It was summarised the history about the water buffalo introduction in Brazil, and registered the Paracooperia nodulosa in buffalo of the Ribeira Valley, State of São Paulo. It was described the macroscopical lesions in the wall of the small intestine as well as the morphology of the male and female adult parasites.
