The AA. have studied the sistematization of the ramus principalis sinister of the liver, in 50 cats (29 males and 21 females). The system of the ramus principalis sinister is composed, mainly, by the ramus lateralis lobi sinistri, ramus medialis lobi sinistri, ramus lobi quadrati and less frequently, by the ramus processi papillaris, ramus medialis lobi dextri, ductus cysticus. That system is also integrated by inominate — ducts from the lobus lateralis sinister, lobus medialis sinister, lobus quadratus, lobus medialis dexter, lobus lateralis dexter and lobus caudatus (processus papillaris and processus caudatus).
