The authors present the results obtained with a vaccine prepared with a pox virus isolated from pigeon and cultivated on the chorioallantoic membrane of hen's eggs. For the preparation of the vaccine they use the embryo as well as the yolk, the egg white, the membranes and the fluids. After dilution in buffered glycerol the vaccine, when kept in the ice box for 6, 8 and 13 months, gave the vaccinating titers of 1:1,000, 1:100 and 1:10, respectively.Downloads
