This paper evaluates points on archaeological sites and slope dynamics using knowledge of Geomorphology and Agricultural Sciences, as mass movements and soil loss. These considerations are based on field observations accomplished in researches developed at the Brazilian Central Plateau, especially in the last five years. We present cases where adoptions of geoarchaelogical practices are necessary for a better interpretation of the environmental context of the archaelogical sites, especially horizontal and vertical distribution of archaelogical evidences.Downloads
