The search for qualities which can differentiate the masculine and feminine bodies and sexes on biology have led to many misconceptions about what we understand as men and women or masculine and feminine on society, which have historically supported both social and political conservative positions. Aiming to introduce new elements on a fundamentally interdisciplinary debate, we tried to develop an analysis centered on the interface between biology and social studies, in order to reconceptualize the construction of body, sex and gender.Downloads
