Behavior, Proximate cause, Ultimate causes.Abstract
The causal and functional reason of a behavior is not always similar. For example, what causes sexual behavior, most of the times, is the attraction that a female feels by the male and vice versa, whereas its functional reason is quite different and far, the reproduction. The study of behavior must therefore necessarily take into account their causal and functional reasons.Downloads
