We present a communicative proposal of extension intervention which may be adapted to a program of first grade elementary school teacher education. Associated to our work in the Genetic Epistemology Laboratory at the Universidade Federal da Bahia, the program was designed having a study case involving 05 public school teachers from the city of Salvador as its data base. Using discourse analysis and taking the concepts of teachers' knowledge and university knowledge (TARDIF (2002), we come to propose a set of themes that we consider essential to be a part of the teacher's knowledge base to resignify literacy practices in scientifically referred terms.Downloads
