The edition presents a series of articles on the Zika virus, dengue and congenital Zika syndrome. Although these diseases have received less attention with the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic, they continue to be serious problems to Brazilian healthcare system. Other subjects approached in this bilingual edition are child health, patient safety, palliative care, judicialization of health, right to oral health, decentralization of health services and participation of the private sector in the Brazilian national health system.
