Governance for the 2030 Agenda: organizations, complexity and the challenges of the Anthropocene

This article discusses private organizations participation in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals of the United
Nations. Beyond reviewing the organization’s internal practices, the challenge is to think of it as an element of an ecosystem
that involves its sector, its productive and value chain, from the collaborative governance notion. This text discusses the
main bases of this idea and presents the example of the “Consórcio Cerrado das Águas”, a partnership between coffee brands
in the state of Minas Gerais (Brazil).
