Abstract

How do the changes in the production of journalism affect the ethical dimension of the practice of the profession? And how does the media company interfere in this process? This is what this article tries to discuss, from an empirical interpretation of interviews with 15 journalists. The analyzes, which take the most representative statements of these interviews, point to an intrinsic relationship between ethical delays, committed by journalists, and the institutional weight of the communication company, as a guide for professional production procedures.
