Abstract

The recent 2007 crisis gave a high visibility to the issue of trust in organizations and to the associated problem of CEO trustworthiness, reopening the debate on the importance of business ethics. However, the ambiguity of some concepts and the scarcity of references on the ethics of trust may limit the results of this discussion. This study proposes the recovery of part of Aristotle’s thinking and suggests some contributions for the analysis of the problem.
