In 2011, the transplant problem was a subject that required much attention by the media, becoming an usual matter, if compared with previous years. Here, we want to understand the type of thematization made in the 59 news articles gathered in 2011 and what type of news sources were contacted to built the newsworthiness that placed this topic in the public debate. This work is part of a wider investigation that begun in 2008 and gathered 6.305 news articles about health, published in the Portuguese general press until 2011.Downloads
