Corporate communicators in Brazil have changed many basic concepts in Organizational Communication with the purpose of fulfilling commercial, political or personal interests. With this, they establish a conflict between practice and theory and jeopardize the communication planning of the organizations. They tend to disregard the complexity of relations with the stakeholders and ignore the gradual process of segmentation of the internal or external information channels of the organizations.
