Guillermo Orozco Gómez, PhD from Harvard University, educator and communicator, with frequent presence and collaboration with researchers and graduate programs from Brazil as the ECA-USP, has granted an exclusive interview to MATRIZes, in which he documented his experience with communication and education. The teacher is firm in his position on the right of expression of broad sectors of society, especially among young people, who still suffer in school from the lack of a pedagogy that is responsive to cultural changes and new ways of learning. He emphasizes the role of the communicator and the role of the media as non-formal educators, whose strategies need to be problematized in the context of formal education, contributing to a critical and protagonist formation.Downloads
