The spatial dimension in the studies of slavery

The aim of this article is to analyse the importance of space in studies of slavery in the Americas. Using a thematic approach, the article tries to understand how various scholars understood the significance of space in organization of power and how slaves used plantation space as a tool to resist exploitation and violence.Downloads
