This article deal with the con cerns that are leading our mastership dissertation. Among them we find mainly, som e relationships between media - understoad at the same time, as essential technological not-comunication generator dimension and to the understanding of the relationships produced by the globalized world - and the production and reproduction space of the social relationships generated and accomplished at the city. As a counterpoint to the not-comunication generator media, we propose a research on a street TV (TV Viva from Olinda/PE) that developed its communicative process, presupposing the use of public space (streets and squares) as a pretext to the meeting, the speech, the dialog with the other. This meeting at a public space will be, at its turn, the other nucleus of our set of problem s that will allow us to discuss the processes of appropriation by the use of space in a poor district of Recife, as well as the district as a production and reproduction Place of the urban space of Recife as well as a resistance, identity construction and life maintenance placeDownloads
