The obstetric brachial paralysis is a lesion of the brachial plexus that occurs during the childbirth. The treatment is conserved in most of the cases and the physical therapy is essential. This work aimed survey based on the cases and their characteristics of obstetric brachial paralysis saw at Ribeirão Preto Medicine University Clinic Hospital. It was analyzed 82 medical records and the prevalence was major in male children, who were born by normal childbirth, with high paralysis and right superior member. The clavicle fracture was associated with plexus lesion in 11% of the children and conserved treatment associated to physical therapy in 46% of the cases.Downloads
