Repercussion of functional hemispherectomy for the motore activity, in patients with Rasmussen encephalitis

This article compares the motore evaluation of the two patients with Rasmussen encephalitis who underwent the functional hemispherectomy. The case number 1 had few motore alterations in comparation with the case number 2, which had motore importants alterations, and dicusses the possible mechanisms of neural plasticity related to the better evolution of case 1.
