After all, what is the use of medieval philosophy?

The study of Medieval Philosophy, instead of an object of erudition, understands itself as the history of the intellectual conditions of possibility of Modern Philosophy. The philosophical necessity of modern positions, particularly that of Kant, becomes more evident with the correct understanding of ancient Physics’ and Metaphysics’ aporias as reworked by medieval Scholastics.Downloads

Authors keep the right to reuse the texts published in future editions of their work, without paying any fees to "Cadernos”. We will not grant the permission to re-edit or translate the texts for third parts without agreement of the author.
