Abstract

The study of Medieval Philosophy, instead of an object of erudition, understands itself as the history of the intellectual conditions of possibility of Modern Philosophy. The philosophical necessity of modern positions, particularly that of Kant, becomes more evident with the correct understanding of ancient Physics’ and Metaphysics’ aporias as reworked by medieval Scholastics.
