Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the specificity of the concept of payment in the psychoanalytic treatment with children. In this reality the money to the child and parents is a place of relevance and involves two dialectics: the subject has the responsibility regarding their own particular subject position specified in the discourse, in the case of the speaker, both parents and child, beyond the fact that the payment is made by parents. To be responsible for causality in the case of children is to allow the appearance of the subject in their intermittences and resend the transference to parental affiliation, as it is discussed in the clinical case of this paper.
