    Vanessa Massoni da Rocha possui Doutorado em Estudos de Literatura na Universidade Federal Fluminense (2012) e Mestrado em Literaturas Francófonas (2009) na mesma instituição. Na UFF cursou ainda licenciatura em Francês (português-francês, 2006). Fez pós-doutoramento em Literatura comparada na Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro em 2018. É professora de Língua francesa e de Literaturas Francófonas na Graduação em Letras e nos programas de Pós-Graduação Lato Sensu e Stricto Sensu (Mestrado em Literaturas Francófonas) na Universidade Federal Fluminense.
