Abstract

In his courses and texts, Roland Barthes unveiled the "scene of the writing": from a selection of texts, he presented how some figures, words and vocabularies were updated in each text, each context. Known as the critic who killed the Author, Barthes inscribed himself as a character of a fascinating intellectual narrative: in his last years of life, his public mourning for the death of his mother and the dissemination of a self among his writings and courses reverberated as the writing of a real novel, a lost or hidden novel, mixed up with his reasoning on literary criticism.

  • Maria Clara da Silva Ramos Carneiro, Federal University of Santa Maria

    Professor at the Department of Modern Foreing Languages of Arts and Letters Center at Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) since 2018, coordinates Idiomas sem Fronteiras in the university and was the french language pedagogic coordinator at UFSM (2018-2019). Has a Bachelor?s degree in Portuguese and French Languages and Literatures (2005) and a Licenciatura degree in Portuguese and French Languages and Litertures (2010); a Master degree in French Literature from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, 2007); and a Doctor degree in Theory of Literature from the same university (2015); got a scholarship from CAPES for PhD students and the PSDE CAPES grant for a stage (?bolsa-sanduíche?) at University of Paris-IV ? Sobonne. Research leader of the group ?Oficinas de escrita, histórias em quadrinhos e tradução: teoria da literatura e práticas literárias?, at Diretório de Grupos from CNPq. Organized the events Universidade em Quadrinhos (UniQ, 2019), and Prêmio Grampo of comics (2016-), as so editor of the website Balbúrdia of comics critics; was member of the jury of Comics category at the 61st Prêmio Jabuti. Has experience in the following areas: Language, mostly Theory of Literature, working with the topics: comics, teaching of french as a foreign language, Roland Barthes, Oulipo, Oubapo and literature.

    Bachelor in Social Communication - Public Relations at the Federal University of Santa Maria. Currently studying Bachelor of Arts - Portuguese at UFSM, part of the group Writing workshops, comics and translation: literature theory and literary practices ", in the CNPq Groups Directory in the lines of Analysis and Theory of Comics and Group Studies of semiology: notions of style, authorship and game.
