Abstract

This article intends to analyze the current transition context of world of the work, in which the organizing processes of productive reestructuring and flexibilization had disarranged its configuration. This process produced the society regulator weakness and the present paradigms rupture by the psychosocial borders’ dilution, which establish the roles and identities built in the relation with the world. Accepting the idea that the work continues to be central for the human being sociability, it can be evidenced that its flexibilization has caused significant psychosocial experiences of life rupture that reached only traditionally excluded groups decades ago and can potentially reach all the persons now. As a method to reflect about it, a comparison is proposed between the established rupture experience of the psychotic crisis and the new rupture experiences suffered by the contemporaneous man who lost his job or see it be deep modified. The study concludes that this process generates a similar psychosocial experience of biographical rupture in both cases as a result of the reference loss of the world sense, the construct of an intermittent biography and the need of structuring again the social link in a world that transforms this process into difficulty.
