Modo de vida e segurança alimentar e nutricional de agricultores familiares de um projeto de desenvolvimento sustentável (PDS)

Abstract

This research deals with the dynamics of a Sustainable Development Project (PDS) based on qualitative approaches aimed at analyzing the way of life of the families of farmers associated with food and nutritional security, with emphasis on the relations of cooperation, sociability, food consumption, eventual conflicts and possible innovation in the commercialization channels of production. The methodology used was action research, through open interviews, field diary and photographic records. The choice of this route made it possible to demonstrate that the issues of insecurity or food security are also explained by the relationships of sociability, sharing of new marketing routes and by the valorization - not always realized - of the environmental dimension of the PDS in a region harmonized by the agroindustrial complex sugarcane.
