Abstract

The aim of this article is to demonstrate the peculiar interpretation that Jürgen Habermas does, in his essay “Work and Interaction”, of the philosophy of the Spirit of 1805-1806 of the young Hegel. For that, it will be necessary to delineate the interpretation about this philosophy of Spirit, made by Georg Lukács, since Habermas, when proposing to make a innovates reading, makes a counterpoint to the interpretation of Lukács, however without developing it. Consequently will be demonstrated, in the course of this text, as is another possible interpretation of Hegel’s philosophy considering the text of the Hegel himself. The objective will be to demonstrate the inadequacies of reading undertaken by Habermas.
