In this article, we propose to understand how the analysis of kadiwéuart made by Guido Boggiani, Claude Levi- Strauss and Darcy Ribeiro dialogueswith two theoretical schools of anthropology and with my own ethnographyexperience, conducted among kadiwéu women artists in the village of Alves deBarros, municipality of Porto Murtinho-MS. Starting by the understanding ofthe existing dualism between art as a communication system and art as agency,and making use of the contributions of the above mentioned authors and myethnographic notes, we intend to develop a kadiwéu art study.Downloads
