Abstract

The study of family Rhamnaceae is a part of the project of "Flora of Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais, Brasil". In that area, the family is represented by the following genera, with their respective number of species: Crumenaria (3), Gouania (1), Reissekia (1), Rhamnidium (1) and Rhamnus (1). Key to genera, descriptions and illustrations of the species are presented.
