Abstract

Comparison is made on behavior of Wadsworth, Maltaner & Maltaner, V. D. R. L. and Migliano tests in a group of 1.200 sera, 299 being from patients with treated syphilis, and the rest from people apparently normal. The C. F. test was positive in 263 (87,9%) in syphilitic group and once in a case of leprosy.V. D. R. L. was positive in 289 (96,6%) of the syphilitic group in 2 cases of non-syphilitic and 15 more with no history or clinicai signs of syphilis. Migliano test was positive in 142 cases (47,4%) with 2 false: positive results. The reason and meaning of serological discrepancies are discussed.
