Abstract

The plasmatic and blood volumes of 18 horses, 8 males and 10 females, clinically selected as normal, were determined through RIHSA (Radioactive lodinated Human Serum Albumin). The statistical analysis of the results indicated a positive and high intense correlation between the values of plasm and blood volumes and the body weight; thus, it was established the relation of both plasm blood per kg of body weight, being there 54.03 ml and 83,3 ml respectively.
